Our workforce are always trained in the latest health & safety practices to ensure the highest level of safety is achieved on all projects.
CSCS
All Sharland roofing ltd operatives are all 100% CSCS Carded and all our managers are CSCS Carded to Management and Supervisor levels.
In May 2007 one of our team was awarded the 1 millionth CSCS card and we have a gold award for our CSCS compliant workforce.
SMAS Worksafe Contractor
We have been approved by Safety Management Advisory Services with the award of a full Worksafe Contractor Membership.
The assessment was undertaken in line with The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, The Construction Design & Management Regulations 2007 and The Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1999.
Face-Fit Operator Training
We are qualified face mask fitters and have received Fit Test Operator Training in Qualitative Fit Testing.
Site supervisory safety certificate
All our operatives have a site supervisor safety certificate qualification.
Forklift
We have our own in-house forklift drivers if required for projects.
Training group
We are members of the South West Training Group.
Mobile elevated work platforms
Our operatives are trained and certificated in mobile platform operations.
PASMA Trained workforce
Our operatives are trained to assemble mobile access tower.
Yearly health & safety awareness course
All our operatives sit and pass a yearly course in Health & Safety awareness.
